A little About us
Growing up in the Kawartha’s, countless hours were spent in the Breez Skate Shops.
Staring at endless deck walls, drooling over the freshest gear, grabbing the latest copy Concrete Powder Magazine.
The local shops were your daily feed; where riders swapped stories of local legends, latest bangers, and hot new spots.
They were the hang-out hubs and the heart and soul of the boarder community.
An explosion of mall stores and a takeover of corporate giants in the boarder industry followed by the 2008 recession
forced rapid downfalls of core companies and shops alike.
Authenticity seemed to be lost, the community became disconnected.
Moving back to the Kawartha’s after an almost 10-year hiatus from the skateboarding and wakeboarding,
it felt like it was time to reconnect with the boarder roots.
The love for the board sports was rediscovered.
This time, fused with a passion to rebuild that missing sense of community
and a quest to supported young shredders gettin ' after it.
After pursuing "the career" and being bored to death in countless hours of corporate meetings,
it became clear what needed to happen next.
Board Meeting Apparel was born.
