A little About us
Growing up in the Kawartha’s, I’d spent countless hours in the Breez Skate Shops drooling over the massive deck walls, checking out all the gear, and swapping gossip of latest bangers the local legends were throwing down.
The local shops were where you got your daily feed, the hang-out hubs, the soul of the boarder community.
A takeover of corporate giants in the board sports industry forced rapid downfalls of core companies and shops alike. The focus on growing profit margins caused shops to struggle, leading to closures.
The community became disconnected – people drifted apart.
After an almost 10-year hiatus from the skateboarding and wakeboarding, and moving back to the Kawartha’s’ I knew it was time to reconnect with my roots. I discovered a new-found-passion for the board sports I grew up loving fused with a desire to help support the young riders getting’ after it and re-establish that missing sense of community.
After several boring online meetings, dreaming and planning the next session spot, road trip, or trick I had to get ... Board Meeting Apparel was born.
Rider owned and family operated.
Fuck the corporate giants!
